
Boxing Rules
We take the safety of our fighters seriously, and that's why we have a strict set of rules that must be followed during our boxing matches. These rules include wearing protective gear, such as gloves and headgear, and following our scoring system. We also have limitations on hitting below the belt or in the back of the head. Our goal is to ensure a fair and safe match for both fighters, while providing an exciting event for our audience.
How Many Rounds ?
Our tournaments rounds will be 2 - 2 min rounds where a third round will be implemented if the 2 previous rounds ends in a draw by the refee and the judges.
Combat Rules
Only punches to the head and body are permitted any strike below the belt or to the back of the body will lead to a warning or disqualification, strikes other than punches are not permitted and will lead to disqualification
Scoring
Scoring in boxing is typically done using the "10-point must system," where the winner of each round is awarded 10 points, and the loser receives 9 or fewer, depending on the round's events. Judges consider the following:

Clean Punches: Punches that land cleanly on the opponent's scoring areas (head and torso).

Effective Aggression: Aggressive actions that lead to effective punches.

Ring Generalship: Control of the pace and position within the ring.

Defence: Ability to avoid punches and defend against attacks.
Techniques and Rules
Legal Techniques

Punches: Only punches delivered with the knuckle part of a closed glove and striking the front or sides of the opponent's head and torso are allowed.

Footwork: Proper footwork to maintain balance and positioning.
Illegal Techniques

Headbutts: Using the head to strike the opponent.

Low Blows: Punches below the belt.

Hitting the Back of the Head: Striking the opponent on the back of the head or neck.

Holding and Hitting: Holding the opponent while punching.

Hitting on the Break: Punching when the referee has called for a break.

Hitting a Downed Opponent: Striking an opponent who is down on the canvas.
Kids Category
This division is for Boys and Girls who are below 16, in this division, they will be divided on weight experience along with if strikes to the face is allowed
Adult Beginners
This category is divided among Males and Females who have below 2 years of combat experience.
Adults Experiened
This division is divided among males and females who have above 2 years of combat experience
Required Equipment
Please note that to participate in the tournament you need to ensure that you have all the equipment listed, if you do not have the equipment listed you will not be able to fight.
